Help Me Protect My Home and Repay My Bank Loan
Help Me Protect My Home and Repay My Bank Loan I am an Ethiopian homeowner going through a very difficult financial period, and I am asking for support to help me address an overdue bank loan payment and protect my small home in Bishoftu. I took a bank loan of 500,000 Ethiopian Birr to help with my financial needs. The repayment agreement was arranged in four installments, with payments scheduled every three months. I successfully paid the first scheduled installment. Unfortunately, because of serious financial difficulties and the increasing cost of living, I was unable to make the second scheduled payment. The amount currently overdue is 143,877.56 Ethiopian Birr. The bank has now sent me a written warning regarding the missed payment and the possible consequences if the situation is not resolved. I want to make it clear that I am not trying to avoid my responsibility or refuse to repay my loan. I fully intend to meet my financial obligation. I have already submitted a written request to the bank asking for additional time and consideration regarding the repayment. However, I am currently struggling to raise the amount needed within the required time. My small home in Bishoftu is very important to me, and I am trying my best to protect it while continuing to deal with this financial responsibility. This fundraiser is therefore an appeal for temporary support during a very difficult period. My immediate goal is to raise 143,877.56 Ethiopian Birr to address the overdue installment and reduce the immediate pressure from the bank. Any additional support will be used responsibly toward my remaining loan obligation. I am not asking one person to solve my entire problem. I am asking many compassionate people to help me take one difficult step at a time. Even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference. For example, contributions of 500, 1,000, 2,000, or 5,000 Birr can add up when many people come together. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, colleagues, community, or Ethiopian diaspora networks would also mean a great deal to me. Sometimes one share can reach someone who is able to help. I understand that people need to know that a fundraising request is genuine. I can provide the bank's written warning as supporting evidence when appropriate, while protecting private personal and banking information. Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read my story and for considering helping me during this difficult period. Your kindness, donation, prayer, or even simply sharing this fundraiser can help me move one step closer to protecting my home and fulfilling my responsibility. Thank you for your support.
